August 2025

For more than a century, Seneca Foundry has proudly supplied high-quality iron castings under the leadership of the McCollough family. Over the past 25 years, fourth-generation owner Kirk McCollough led the company with a strong focus on customer service and casting excellence. Last year, ownership transitioned to Lori Mason, who now celebrates her first anniversary as owner and CEO, continuing Seneca Foundry’s legacy while leading it into an exciting new chapter.

A Familiar and Trusted Leader

Lori Mason is no stranger to Seneca Foundry or its customers. With more than 20 years of experience at the company, she began her career in the accounting department before advancing into operations and ultimately stepping into the role of President five years ago.

“I am honored to be able to lead Seneca Foundry into the future, serving our customers and supporting our team of employees,” said Mason. “Kirk has been a mentor throughout my career, and I am excited to continue building upon the strong foundation he and his family created.”

A Seamless Transition

The ownership transition was strategically planned to ensure no disruption to daily operations or customer service. Mason emphasized the company’s continued focus: “I am committed to ensuring that Seneca Foundry remains a viable and stable business, delivering quality castings, providing a safe work environment, and offering rewarding career paths for employees.”

Celebrating the First Year

This August, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the foundry to celebrate Mason’s first year of ownership. Reflecting on the milestone, she said, “I am incredibly grateful for the employees who bring their passion and skill every day, our loyal customers who trust us with their business, and the community that continues to support us.

With this new era of leadership, Seneca Foundry looks forward to many more years of service, growth, and success.
